Michelle Silverman is a true native San Diegan. She chose never to leave, except for her time at the University of California Los Angeles where she got a BA in sociology. Michelle’s parents were real estate brokers who owned their own company in San Diego. Michelle has been a second-generation realtor for over two decades, you can say that San Diego real estate runs through her blood! Having grown up in San Diego means that Michelle knows details and aspects about local neighborhoods that only a true native knows, information she is able to pass on to her clients. Michelle has lived in the wonderful community of La Jolla for over 25 years with her husband Scott (who also happens to be a San Diego native too). Together they have raised two amazing daughters. When Michelle is not showing homes in either La Jolla or San Diego you can find her every Sunday morning at La Jolla’s Open Aire Farmers Market buying vegetables and flowers for the week. Her passion for gardening and flowers is evident in her hobbies of making succulent flower planters, flower arrangements and planting vegetables in her garden. Michelle is also famous for her awesome guacamole dip. The recipe, a family secret, is under lock and key. Amy & Michelle reunite- When shoulder pads, big hair and huge earrings were in fashion (September 1985) Michelle taught Amy how to sell accessories at her store in Pacific Beach. After raising two daughters in La Jolla and Carmel Valley, Amy reunites with Michelle as she begins her career as a real estate agent. Michelle’s experience over two decades selling distinguished properties in luxury markets such as Point Loma and La Jolla and Amy’s knowledge of the latest internet marketing tools makes them a dynamic force in the high end real estate market. Amy’s an east coaster who visited her retired parents in San Diego in college, transferred to SDSU and never looked back. After a career in the news business, she married La Jolla local Eric Simon and the two of them raised their children in La Jolla and Carmel Valley. Her daughters currently attend Canyon Crest Academy in Carmel Valley. Now as she embarks upon her second career as a realtor she is mentored by distinguished luxury coastal real estate agent Michelle Silverman. Michelle has more than two decades of experience selling upscale coastal properties in La Jolla and Point Loma and more. Amy spends her free time at the gym, getting her steps in on the beaches of Del Mar and binge watching documentaries on Netflix. Michelle knows the power of having a good team behind you. She works with a personal transaction coordinator, title officers, inspectors, stagers, painters, contractors and more – to help guide her clients through every step of the home buying or selling process. Whatever the current market conditions, Michelle’s professionalism, coupled with market knowledge, negotiation skills and willingness to go beyond the call of duty, by collaborating with fellow Realtors has allowed her to be ranked consistently in the top 1-2% of sales professionals nationwide.
