Over 200 people gathered at the Oak Creek Golf Course in Irvine last Sunday to support the Be Aware Foundation. One of the foundation’s premier fundraisers, the 8th annual Stomp Out Breast Cancer event included a grape stomping competition, wine & craft beer tasting, delicious food samplings, live music, and silent auction featuring wine, jewelry, restaurant experiences, fabulous vacations and dozens of unique opportunities.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Vice President of Operations and Marketing for the Southwest Region, Leeann Iacino, led the all Coldwell Banker grape stomping team, Breast Friends. A breast cancer survivor herself, Iacino was also recently appointed to serve a three-year term on the foundation’s Board of Directors.
Sporting pink bandanas and festive attire, the team paid homage to I Love Lucy’s infamous “grape fight/stomping” episode.
Founded in 2004, the Be Aware Foundation is dedicated to saving lives by educating and inspiring women to follow early detection guidelines for breast cancer.
