Coldwell Banker Participates in a Sleep Out to Support Homeless Youth

In the United States this year, over 4 million kids will experience homelessness, many sleeping on the streets. While the numbers are daunting, Covenant House has been helping those in need, from homeless to run away and trafficked young people. Their Sleep Outs help raise awareness about the dangers youths face on the street and raise money to provide even more support.

Coldwell Banker was proud to support the incredible organization at one of the recent Sleep Outs. Attendees included Jamie Duran (president of Southern California), Brad Pearson (regional vice president), Randy Bragdon (marketing director of Southern California), Tom Dunlap (Beverly Hills South manager) and Melissa Ryan (affiliated agent with the La Canada Flintridge office).

Attendees slept in cardboard boxes and sleeping bags for the night in solidarity with the homeless. The team shared their experience on Facebook Live  and other social media channels throughout the night, showing their sleeping conditions and encouraging donations. The Sleep Out raised over $599,000 total, all of which will go to support and provide resources to youth on the streets.

The Coldwell Banker team was rallied together by  Christophe Choo, Coldwell Banker affiliated agent with Beverly Hills North office, who has long supported Covenant House and participated in the Sleep Outs. As of today, the team has raised over $38,000 dollars.
