Helping Pets Find a Fur-Ever Home

What do Coldwell Banker® and have in common? One word: home. The calling of Coldwell Banker agents is to help people find a place to call home, and has the same goal for pets. And, of course, a true home is made up of all the things we love, including our furry friends.

The two companies first joined forces in 2015 with the Coldwell Banker Homes for Dogs Project to help 20,000 adoptable dogs find loving homes – a goal that was achieved in just nine months. Since then, the partnership has broadened, and Coldwell Banker offices nationwide have worked with local shelters to host adoption events and raise awareness of the cause. This year, the initiative will continue with National Pet Adoption Weekend, held September 9-10. The event’s objective is simple: connecting good people with great pets at adoption events across the United States and Canada.

The Homes for Dogs Project was originally inspired by the welcome-home experience pet parents receive when they walk in the door after a long day. Coldwell Banker captured this magical moment in an ad campaign titled “Home’s Best Friend.” That story then evolved to feature lovable pups doing funny things in the 2016 campaign, “This is Home. This is Awesomeness.” And this year, Coldwell Banker launched the ad campaign “Somebody to Love,” to shine a light on the Homes for Dogs Project and the landmark number of homes and dogs connected through the program. Check out each ad campaign on Coldwell Banker’s YouTube channel.
