For her Coldwell Banker colleagues, it is no surprise that Jamie Duran has been nominated for an Orange County Women in Business Award. “This is not about me,” she says, “I’m just the person pulling the talent together and representing the tremendous achievements of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage® in Orange County.” That company-first attitude has been a signature feature of Jamie’s 25+ year real estate career.
Today, as President of the Orange County, Riverside County and San Diego Companies of Coldwell Banker, she oversees 43 offices and more than 2000 agents. “It is such an honor to be part of this organization and to work with such a dynamic team,” Jamie says. “We have attracted major talent in our leadership roles and our sales force. Our market share and agent count is skyrocketing, both locally in the industry and nationally within the company. We have had three acquisitions in the last 30 days and five in the last 18 months.”
But, as always, for Jamie it’s not about the numbers—it’s about the people. Her knowledge, patience and ability to offer guidance, inspiration and leadership have made her both a trusted professional and a valued friend to her clients, colleagues and company.
The Orange County Women in Business Award is just the latest among numerous awards Jamie Duran has earned throughout her career. She will be honored at a luncheon and awards program on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at the Hotel Irvine Jamboree Center. See the Orange County Business Journal for reservations. The Women in Business special supplement to the Orange County Business Journal, publishing on April 17, will preview the program and feature profiles and photos of this year’s nominees plus articles of interest from Women in Business sponsors and advertisers.
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage congratulates Jamie Duran on this honor. We couldn’t think of a stronger leader to represent us in Orange County!
