CHESHIRE, CONN. (Jan. 31, 2024) – Phil Giampietro, a sales associate affiliated with Coldwell Banker Realty in Cheshire, was the No. 1 agent in Connecticut who donated to Homes for Heroes in 2023. Via Homes for Heroes, Giampietro donates a portion of his real estate commission for each closed transaction to provide money back to his buyers and sellers who work in healthcare, education, law enforcement, military and firefighting/EMS services. Giampietro is the co-leader of Team Legend at Coldwell Banker Realty.
Since he began working with Homes for Heroes, Giampietro has provided $329,586 to 141 heroes. In addition to being the No. 1 donor in Connecticut, he was No. 22 in the nation for 2023. Giampietro completed 20 “Hero Closings” in 2023. He said the cause is near and dear to his heart, as he is a retired police sergeant who served 25 years, assigned mostly to accidents and investigations.
